My name is Ana, I’m 29 years old, and I’ve always found it hard to answer the question “Where are you from?” in a brief and concise way.

I suppose that’s only natural when you’ve been moving from place to place since you were very little.

​

Let me give you some context:

I was born in Puertollano, Ciudad Real, and even lived on a rural property near Madrid before I turned three.

From the age of three to eleven, I lived in Tàrrega, Lleida.

When I was eleven, my parents decided to fulfill their dream of living near the sea. That’s how I ended up on the Costa Brava, which I consider my home. Between Castelló d’Empúries, Sant Pere Pescador, and Empuriabrava, I spent my teenage years and grew into adulthood.

As you can see, it’s no surprise that I’m a restless soul — it runs in the family.

That’s why I wasn’t afraid to move to Thailand without a return ticket. It turned into six intense months I will never forget.

The following year, chasing my dream of becoming a scuba diving instructor, I left again without a return ticket — this time to a small island in the Philippines, Malapascua.

When I came back six months later, I needed to stay home for a while.

​

That “while” kept stretching. What I thought would be a year at most turned into almost five.

​

Then I visited a friend on the beautiful island of Gran Canaria and fell in love with this extraordinary place — its people, its rhythm, its accent.

​

I felt it could be my new home. And I wasn’t wrong.

I’ve now been living in Gran Canaria for almost four years. I met my life partner here, with whom I’m building a home of my own.

I love reading and writing.
I’m a devoted series and film enthusiast.
I adore board games.

But what I love most in this world is capturing essences, emotions, moments, and feelings — turning something fleeting into something lasting.
